data loss and disk size

 I received my laxman last friday.
1. Saturday I connected the laxman to PC to see the content of the disk. When trying to deconnect by "safe removal" or by "eject" I got the message that this was not possible because the disk was 'in use", although this was not the case. So I deconnected the USB cable. After that the installed sessions on the internal memory didn't work anymore. Checking the disk again made it clear that only the laxfiles and the map called "update" remained on the disk (see attachment),sessions on the miniSD still work. What to do??

2. The disk size of the internal disk is supposed to be 1Gb. In my laxman it's only 239 Mb. Is this normal??
However,when I received the laxman there already was a miniSD card of 1GB installed with 3 sessions on it.
